Good Shout ("we", "us") sells personalised Google review QR stands and digital business cards from Cape Town, South Africa, via goodshout.co.za. Ordering from us means you accept the terms below.

Terms of sale

Products and personalisation

Our physical products are made to order and personalised with your business name, logo, and a QR code linked to your Google Business Profile or contact details. Digital business cards are delivered as Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes. Prices shown on the site are in South African Rand and include the stand, base, and personalisation unless stated otherwise.

Artwork approval

For printed products we send you an artwork proof before anything is manufactured. Production starts only after you approve the proof (or after two reminders over five working days go unanswered, in which case we produce to the proof as sent). Please check spelling, contact details, and your review link carefully — we print what you approve.

Payment

Payment is taken in full at checkout through our third-party payment providers. We never see or store your card details.

Delivery

Physical orders are couriered anywhere in South Africa once produced. We will confirm expected production and delivery times with your artwork proof. Digital cards are delivered immediately.

Your statutory rights

Because our physical products are made to your specifications, the cooling-off right in section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act does not apply to them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, including your rights in respect of defective goods.

Refund policy

• Before the proof is approved: you may cancel for a full refund at any time.
• After production: personalised items can't be resold, so we don't accept returns for change of mind on custom goods.
• Defects and damage: if your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or differs from the approved proof, tell us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and we will repair, replace, or refund it at your choice — including courier costs.
• Digital cards: if your Wallet pass doesn't install or contains an error we introduced, we'll fix and reissue it at no charge, or refund you.

Refunds are paid to the original payment method within 10 working days of approval.

Privacy policy

We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

• Order and contact details you give us: name, business name, email, phone numbers, delivery address, logo artwork, and the details you choose to put on a card or stand.
• Payment confirmation from our payment providers (never your card number).
• Basic technical logs needed to run the site securely.

How we use it

• To produce and deliver your order, including generating your QR code and Wallet passes.
• To communicate about your order.
• We do not sell personal information or send marketing you didn't ask for.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to fulfil your order: payment gateways, couriers, Google (for review-link lookup and Google Wallet passes), and Apple (Wallet passes). Note that the contact details you place on a business card are by design shared with anyone who scans it.

Retention and your rights

We keep order records as long as tax law requires and artwork for reprints unless you ask us to delete it. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time using the contact details below, and you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
